How to Use This Guide This is a 26 day guide that is intended to start on Nov. 30 and provide 5 readings each week of Advent culminating in Christmas day. If you choose to receive it by email, that's the schedule on which it will arrive.As you prepare for this "Journey to Bethlehem", first, decide on a brief time and a quiet place for your daily "journey". Begin each day's time with prayer, asking God to open your mind and heart to his word that day. Then, read the passage from your Bible, ponder the reflection questions and end your time with a brief prayer of thanks for something you learned from God that day. That's all it takes, so when you're ready, begin your journey to Bethlehem and meet the new born King! |
